Using toolkit to print oracle forms/reports result in the following error written on printer:
ERROR : configurationerror
OFFENDING COMMAND : setpagedevice
STACK: OS : Solaris 2.5.1
Oracle 7.3.4 with 8.0.5 net.
HW : Enterprise 250
Drivers from HPDeskjet 4M has been installed. Printer is connected via
LAN.
A printout, lp /etc/hosts, shows that file is printed correctly on the
printer.
A dummy ascii printer is defined in the system.
Both printers are defined in NIS+ solstice.
The following significant environment variable is set for oracle user:
TK2_PRINT_STATUS=echo
PRINTER=echo
User attempting to print forms/reports inherits the oracle
environment.
The uiprint.txt files under following directory has been edited by
adding a row representing the HP-printers spool queue in LAN:
/export/oracle/product/7.3.4/guicommon2/tk21/admin/
/export/oracle/product/7.3.4/guicommon2/tk23/admin/
/export/oracle/product/7.3.4/guicommon3/tk25/admin/
