[Quoted] If you know enough of Windows not to be too dangerous in the registry here's what I'd do.
- Use the Oracle installer to remove everything.
- Go into the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE and clean everything out
- Go to c:\program files\oracle and clean everything out
- Go to c:\oracle and clean everything out
- Reboot
