Hi Kevin,

about two years ago i did a performance comparison between Oracle 8.1.5, SQL-Server 7 and Interbase. For this test case i have implemented about 40 triggers and about 20 stored procs for each RDBMS. They were all completely different. The underlying architecture has heavy impacts on your coding.

So i suggest you to look for a good PL/SQL development tool (e.g. TOAD from Quest Software www.quest.com or PL/SQL Developer from Allround Automation www.allroundautomations.com).
