Too many messages in Oracle Forms 6i

I have a problem with the PRE_COMMIT trigger. In the trigger there is an informative message. When the trigger fires, the message is shown in the status line, but it also pops up as small 'OK'-Dialog. I checked if the trigger fires twice, but it doesn't. Can anybody please [Quoted] tell me how I can restrict the message from popping up twice?
