[Quoted] If you use the RMAN-Omniback integration, RMAN does not decide about tapes. Tapes are part of an Omniback tape pool. Omniback decides, which tape to use. The pool itself can be defined in the Omniback II barlist/datalist.

For to use Omniback II with RMAN you have to link the database with Omniback. But it seems, that you still have done this.
