is there some special Protocol setup needed or migration tool ??
i am trying to use an Application that was used with Oracle8.0 with 8.1.7, AFAIK the App depends on SqlNet to connect to the Oracle dbms, a recent upgrade to 8.1.7 has caused problems and the tool no longer connects and gives error message ORA-12222 or ORA-12154 depending on the CONNECT strings previously used ?
help and ideas appreciated.
