OC4J config files corruption question

Some software version background first.
Server Setup: AIX 4.3.3 patchset 9
              	9iAS 1.0.2.2.1 + OC4J RC2 9.0.2

Client Setup: Windows2000 Professional
	        JDeveloper9i RC1

Four times (Mar 7, Mar 19, Apr 24, Apr 25) in the last 2 months, I have noticed that the OC4J configuration files (j2ee/home/conf) become corrupted. I notice this when developers tell me that they can no longer get to their published applications.

Stopping and starting OC4J does not resolve the problem.

The file corruption looks like this:

http-web-site.xml badly corrupted - all application bindings are removed (sometimes some are removed).

server.xml partially corrupted - no longer references http-web-site.xml

I suspect that these corruptions may occur when a developer deploys an application to the OC4J server. But I have no hard evidence to support my suspicions--just file modification timestamps and developers saying that they were probably deploying an application around the date/time of the config files timestamp for last being modified.

I am wondering if you have heard anything that might be related to this? Because this is the 4th time that this corruption has happened, I am a little concerned.

Regards
