Hi

I am working with Oracle Software Packager 1.7.0.20.0A. I develop an installation routine for our Software and I packed it in some Components with dependency. All are non Oracle Home Components. My problem is that the different Components must be installed into the same directory or refer to the same directory. Now, OSP uses for every Component a different path in the PROD_HOME Variable because PROD_HOME is allways "ORACLE_HOME\<Component_InternalName>", where the ORACLE_HOME is what I enter first in Universal Installer and the Component_InternalName is the internal name what I entered in OSP and all Components must have another internal name.

How can I get in all Components the same value for the PROD_HOME Variable?

And my second Question is: Is it possible to get a value out of the database into the installation routine while Universal Installer is installing our Software? How can I do this?

Thanks a lot...
