Listboxes in Forms 6i - Null values

[Quoted] Using Forms 6i with a simple poplist to display drop-down list of months; i.e. have hardcoded values into "Elements in List" property. When it runs, the first element displayed is always null and when I select the list, this seems to be because there is a null value present at the foot of the list.

How do I:
1) remove this NULL value from the list. 2) Get my list to display from the top down (ie. start with JAN)
