Only in so far as Nazi & porn postings dont directly compete with Oracle products ;)

We also sell something that could seriously help with such a migration but I have to admit to having something in common with Oracle - we dont sell for $800!
If Wei understands the requirement, looks at products & selects one that helps an Oracle customer migrate from IBM Informix to Oracle server ( a tad more expensive than $800! ) - I do honestly believe that even Larry Ellison would be hard pressed to make such a negative, unhelpful comment about Nicole's suggestion ( unhelpful to said Oracle Customer), even if her company is a strategic alliance partner with Oracle.

No matter what way you look at it, Sybrand is out of order.

Note my own even handedness - since I *do* give Sybrand the benefit of the doubt in his assertion that Nicole is from CA - presumably because he has seen a pattern in her postings - I personally couldnt say because the note from Nicole provides no info about her affiliation. It would be very unreasonable of an Oracle employee to assume she is a CA employee on the basis of just this one note pointing out an inexpensive tool.

I thought CA were a strong partner with Oracle & it would not have hurt for Nicole to list her affiliation (or lack of it) to CA.

PS before the bottom posting police also turn up - I was just following the order from Jerry...
PPS I just want to establish that the above PS is not a reference to any porn or Nazi postings (not that Sybrand would care ;) PPPS I recommend the Mornington Crescent news group too.
