XML and Oracle Reports 2.5

Anyone out there using reports 2.5 and trying to implement XML output solutions ?? I have several oracle reports that need to produce XML output and the reports have several queries, stored procedures, temp tables. I know that only 6i supports XML output, so since I can't use and RDF I guess I must create separate sql scripts outside of reports designer and create some kind of xml parser. If anyone has done anything similar to this, I'd be interested in hearing different solutions?
