Hi
[Quoted] We have Oracle OEM on an NT box connecting to UNIX box running the instance.
OEM works when UNIX DB has /etc/hosts like:
#
#
127.0.0.1 localhost 10.135.58.60 hades-hme0 hades hades.mycompany-int.com loghost 10.135.60.40 dns_primary
OEM doesn't work when /etc/hosts is:
#
127.0.0.1 localhost hades hades.mycompany-int.com
loghost
10.135.58.60 hades-hme0 10.135.60.40 dns_primary
We could tnsping hosts. netstat -r looked ok. the only thing we changed was /etc/hosts. OEM worked. Running Bind 8.2.2 on solaris 8. Received on Thu Jan 17 2002 - 22:00:49 CET
