Which OEM version should I go for

Greetings all,
We are about to install Oracle Enterprise Manager with a Management Server to ease the administration for all our databases, approx 15, all runs on Solaris.
We have a lot of old 7.3.4 databases that will be upgraded to 8.1.7, and also some 8.0.5 and 8.1.6 databases.
I suppose we should go for the latest version, i.e 2.2, but I want to know if anyone have had any trouble with this version.
