Designer/2000 is the old name of Designer. Pretty much when the millenium ticked round, oracle started removing /2000 from our product names :)

It's likely Designer 6i release 4 (the most recent release) will work fine with any examples in the book: there haven't been any fundamental changes in the way the product works since it was called Designer/2000.
