Net8 Assistant and Net8 Configuration Assistant doesn't start

The installation was fine. I guessed the RAM in the machine may be low, so I upgraded it from 64 MB to 192 MB, but with no success whatsoever.
Can someone please point me to what could be wrong, and how to fix it.
