Designer6i Release 4 Installation problem???

I just downloaded Designer 6i release 4 and trying to install it on workstation running NT4 with 8.1.6 already running. Installation of Designer crashes after going through several dialogs while using installation wizard. I read installation notes and followed all suggestions. Nothing helped.
Anyone installed that version already or had similar problems?
