OEM Console - NIC dependent?

I have OEM 2.2 installed on my laptop (NT) and it works fine. However, I recently got a docking station (with integrated NIC). When docked, the OEM console launches, the first and second windows paint, but when the third window (jobs) starts to paint, the app goes away. Undocked, it still works fine.
