We are running a report (executable .rep file) to screen. The user then verifies and prints and sometimes generates a pdf file from the File menu on the viewer screen. This was working just fine. Made a few changes to the report, added a couple of parameters for selection of data. Now, the report still generates to the screen viewer just fine, but then generating to a pdf or any other kind of file generates an REP error, "CF_... does not contain a formula" naming a calculated field that in this case just substitutes a "N/A" if the corresponding field is null. Any other compiler error stops the report even from running to screen. It's no big deal in this report due to the nature of this CF and have not run across it yet in any other reports, but it's weird, if i change the system parameters to run directly to pdf, i do not get the error. If i change the runtime to run the .rdf i do not get the error. So for now, the report will run from the .rdf file since it works. But any ideas what caused the original error that is only appearing when using the file... generate report to ...pdf/html/rtf etc. ?
