I've been using JDeveloper 3.2.2 for about four months now. I've only had one problem with it - it's much more stable than 3.2. At a recent training course (at Oracle) the instructor was candidly honest about the shakiness of JDeveloper 3.2. Apparently Oracle are in the process of re-writing the whole thing in Java.

If you're deploying to Oracle, or using SQLJ, then you'll have to stick with it. Otherwise, if you're JDBC you might want to give Borland JBuilder a look.
