I installed an 8i Personal Edition on my Window me home pc. The download file from Oracle is nt817personal.zip.
When I typed SQLPLUS at the C prompt. A User name and password prompted up. I typed in SYSTEM/PASSWORD and got the following error message: ORA-12560:TNS:Protocol Adapter Error.
