Are you having a problem with exp'ing and imp'ing the dump files across too many levels of Oracle?

If so, check out our utility NXTract at http://www.kiyoinc.com/nxtract.html. There's an evaluation copy for you to try. It's capacity bounded but you should be able to tell if it solves your problem. The binary is Win32 x86.

NXTract converts the .dmp format to standard tab delimited files. It may allow you to cross the release level boundary.

Or is your problem that you have to run production for a while on 7.3.4. If so, we can't help you there.
