Hey.
I'm developing against an Oracle 8i db. The server and other clients are all running Win2k/NT4, but I would really love to develop from my linux workstation. But, as you may have guessed, we only have the client software for MS Windows. My question (questions, actually) is therefore,
-
[Quoted]
- Is there any way to connect to a server without the client software?
- If not, can you download the client from the net (I know Oracle makes some software avaiable)?
- If not, does there exist an alternate (Open Source?) method of connecting to Oracle?
Thanks in advance
Adam
