Out of curiosity, has anyone written a new version of the command line sqlplus which works more like the modern UNIX shells? Just having the "up arrow key" redisplay the last line I fat fingered so I could make a quick correction would be a welcome improvement. I realized sqlplus is multiplatform and has to function on the lowest common denominator platform, but isn't it time to modernize it and add some features?
Maybe it's out there and I just can't find it!
