DATABASE FULL BACKUP IN RMAN

I use Oracle 8i EE(8.1.6).
When I backup DB in Recovery Manager..
[Quoted] I got strange result. I can't understand why this error occured. In Archive log mode, backup is successful.. but noarchive log mode, this operation is failed. In Oralce manual, this is not metioned.
