Please look up the explanation of ORA-01555. It has nothing to do with the *your* process committing too infrequently but with reading *other* process' info from the rollback segment that is no longer there (because the *other* process terminated the transaction that populated the rollback segment).

Further, please look up www.deja.com (you are redirected to www.google.com) about the newsgroup comp.databases.oracle.server. Then do a search of ORA-01555 within that group. You will find about 17 replies that deal with that issue.

So please *first* look up the archives as above. Only if you don't find anything there post to this newsgroup. It is stuffed enough with questions asked over and over again about the same issue.
