Hi,
I get a the message:
[Quoted] "ORA06565:cannot execute set_role from within stored procedure"
when I start a LOV form.
We do execute the set_role command in the PRE-FORM event.
I have read Note 69483.1 from MetaLink which says that it is not possible
to set roles in a stored procedure or trigger. I understand the reason for
this restriction but the set_role command is executed from within a library
package and not from a stored procedure.
The first time I start the LOV form it works fine but when the transaction
fails and I want to select another value from the same LOV form the error
message pops up.
Any suggestions?
