[Quoted] i'm having problems logging into the oracle enterprise manager.
Starting over from scratch i dropped and created a repository in a local database called 'prod1'. the database is running, the listeners are running, the intelligent agent is running, and the management service is running. The management server was not coming up before i dropped and created a new repository.
i have the dba studio up and running as well. First of all, when i look at some of the docs showing management server names - it allows for ':' colons
to separate the machine:port:sid.
when i have tried to add management server names using the oracle enterprise manager login screen i cannot create a name with ':' embedded in it, leaving me somewhat confused as to how to call the management server.
i have used the same name as i see in the tnsnames.ora file.
i have created and tried other 'node names' as well. anybody have some tries?
thanks,
