new user cant see tables (ORA-04043)

[Quoted] I just created a user account and assigned it priviledges to select, update, and delete. When I go into SQL Plus I cant see any of the tables. I listed out all the tables and none of them were there. So what I did was changed the default tablespace to the same as the user that created the tables. I still can't see them. Any ideas?
