I am struggling uploading a text file into a CLOB column using DBMS_LOB on OS/390 Platform 2.7. I wrote a procedure which successfully loaded into PERSONAL ORACLE DB. But the same procedure failed on the mainframe. Does anyone out there have done this before or know for fact that MVS does not support CREATE DIRECTORY command? Thanks so much!
