That's the last date the IDS release team gave us. Sometimes these dates change; this particular IDS pack has a number of new products and required a great deal of integration testing before it could be released. However, the IDS team officially announced that IDS 1.0.2.2.0 was released to manufacturing on 22 December, which means it should be generally available around January 8th. Designer 6i should hopefully be downloadable from OTN on or around that date.
