tnsnames.ora and win2k

[Quoted] I have a problem connecting to an Oracle database with a win2k machine. The programs that I use are TOAD and SQL3.3 Plus. There is no problem connecting to the Oracle databases with our win95/98 and NT4 machines but we are having a problem with the win2k machine.

When we try to connect we get the following error messages:

ORA-12545: TNS:name lookup failure
Details:
