Problem installing repository

Hi,
I followed the instructions in the manual for Oracle Designer but when I try to install a repository instance for Designer 6.0 I get the following error:
first the installer starts to import table "CK_Installed_objects" 1825 rows inported. Then suddenly I get the message: Ora-00942: Table or view does not exist. The next message is: CDI-21239: Errror While Populating CK_INSTALLED_OBJECTS. Then the installer stops.
I'm using a Novell Server with Oracle 8 For Netware.
Please Help
