What kind of bad command are you getting? Is it a:

bash: djfsdfsd: command not found

Or is it an Oracle error (in which case, what error?) Are you getting an invalid user error? Invalid database error?

If it is the first error, it means that your path is not correct. If you do an "echo $PATH", you should find a $ORACLE_HOME/bin in your path. If you do not, that's your problem. (If your ORACLE_HOME is /usr2/oracle, the above would show up as /usr2/oracle/bin, not as $ORACLE_HOME/bin.)

If it is the second error, we need more information before we can help solve the problem.
