[Quoted] Thanks for the input.

All apps are 32-bit. Haven't seen exactly what the home switcher utility does. Somone else has been doing the dual homes stuff. The most disturbing thing, besides labor cost, is that the support folks told us it wasn't safe to run apps [Quoted] from two homes at the same time. If the registry is changed by the "switcher" and the apps read the registry at times other than the initial startup, I would expect problems. I don't know how all this works internally. The two apps are [Quoted] inventory and a set of financial programs. They need to be able to run at the same time without crashing or corrupting the data. If we end up having to wipe and re-install 25 workstations and then we find additional problems, our customer won't be happy. The home for the 8i stuff is currently installed on a LAN drive. So, even re-installing the 25 is something we did not bid.

Thanks
Chuck
