ffigen / calling a DLL

Hi,
I created a DLL in Delphi4 and tried to load and call its functions in Forms5. That worked, using FFIGEN.
Now I try to call a function with Forms6 but from all VARCHAR2 parameters I pass, the DLL only gets the first character.I re-genereated the PLD using FFIGEN from the Forms6 cd.
Looks like some sort of pointer problem, but it worked fine in Forms 5!?
Any ideas?
