Why are you using ODBC from within a VB app? Are you specifically doing things [Quoted] [Quoted] that can only be accomplished with ODBC or have you just always programmed with [Quoted] [Quoted] ODBC and have not learned about using OLE DB? If you do not know the difference [Quoted] then it is probable that none of your code is ODBC dependent.

[Quoted] I use the Microsoft OLE DB provider (MSDAORA) and when I upgraded to WinME I [Quoted] [Quoted] didn't notice a single behavior change in my VB apps. I wouldn't even know if [Quoted] there is an ODBC problem because life is far to short to mess around with a [Quoted] legacy technique like that - especially from within VB.
