as well.Oracle 8 Lite comes with a sample database "odbc:polite" I can access the database thru Forms (host string is "odbc:polite") But I cannot get SQL Plus to run against the Oracle 8 Lite When I start, SQL Plus, it comes up with Name:

Host String:
what should i say in the Host String
Or how do i configure Net8 connection
what do i use for protocol :-

Oracle 8 Lite installation:=====================Does anyone have Oracle 8 Lite and SQL Plus running.Here's my problem: I have Oracle 8 Lite installed on Windows 95 and I have Forms 6i installed
