Hi all,
Is there a possibility to compress data in an Oracle database ? I'm of course aware that this will cause a drop in performance. Our operating system is AIX.
I know that indexes can be reduced, but have also heard of a utility called "index compression". Can anyone tell what this is about ?
Finally, we have considered to change from a Unix-based server to NT. Any comments on advantages / disadvantages ?
