SQLCA defined in two modules (Pro*C precompiler)

Two different source modules use the SQL Communications Area (EXEC INCLUDE sqlca). During link an error occurs:
Warning: Public symbol '_sqlca' defined in both module mod1.c and mod2.c
How can the error be fixed?
