OCI problem

Hi,
I'm working with Oracle 8.1.5 and using OCI from a client machine.
OCI transactions work ok if the number of records is lesser than 65536,
and seems have some strange problems if the number of records is greater.
I've tried to do it in a loop with
a small record number but the result is the same. This seems a bug of OCI.
Can anyone help me?
