OEM 1.6.5 and Oracle 8.1.6

[Quoted] Did anybody have a good luck to register any event set from OEM 1.6.5 console with Oracle 8.1.6 (particularly in Solaris)? It results in the message "NMS-00001: Warning: dbsnmp unable to connect to SNMP master agent" [Quoted] in the $ORACLE_HOME/network/log/dbsnmpw.log file. Of course, that combination is not supported but actually works good with Oracle 8.1.5. Any idea?
