Dear Adrian,

I realise you are pissed off that you fucked up so bad about confusing wishlists and factual Oracle information, and getting called on your confusion. But try and cool down. Read my original post carefully.

I suggested the poster find someone with a fast Internet connection and use that to download the stuff -because I *know* that technet is not the most reliable download source in the world, and I wouldn't waste my 56K band-thinth on that sort of connection.

It ain't perfect, and I made no guarantees -but if he wants to do downloads, this is a reasonable suggestion. I did my download using a colleague's T1 connection. You can do whatever maths you want, but I stand by my figures -give or take fifteeen minutes. I wasn't counting that closely.

And neither, clearly, were the plentitude of posters who have claimed that technet was a perfectly viable source of material for them. Please don't blame me because you can't configure a decent Internet connection -read the replies. And then try and make a *cool* judgement about whether I was misleading the original poster.

Now, dear. I realise your ass has been whipped, but get off the case, calm down, back off and try and post about Oracle matters, rather than Rogers matters. You will look less the idiot for doing so.
