All,
we're looking at DR at the moment. We're running Oracle 8.0.5, and OmniBack II 3.1. We perform RMAN backups, and we would like to do a full restore. Does anyone have any starting points for us?
Do we need to recover the control files prior to performing an RMAN restore? Do we need a cold backup to perform a restore?
Any help would be appreciated.
