you can always get an OCP certificate by studying yourself (check the OCP homepage on www.oracle.com/education). Start using the http://technet.oracle.com -- subsription is free - there are forums, white papers and tons of free software to start. Make your hands dirty before even thinking for certified. You think people will hire you just because you have OCP certificate? Even they hire you can you really do the job? Get the book "Oracle8i Complete Reference" from Oracle Press and start reading. And when it comes to the point that you ready for those OCP exams - then take the 8i ones (not 8.0). Oracle terminates oracle7 certification and already announced that 8.0.6 as the final 8.0 release. So figure out yourself...
