Forms call Msft. stored procs?

Anyone know if you can call SQL Server Stored Procs from Oracle Forms? If so, how?

Customer is using Oracle forms to try and work with Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 database. Oracle forms front end SQL gets translated upon arrival at back end into very inefficient form, for example, drops WHERE clause, so code takes forever to run.
