New: 12203 TNS: could not reach destination

[Quoted] [Quoted] OK, so I installed 8i and am able to connect to the 7.3.4 db. Now I installed Dev/2000 and I can't connect to the database - it keeps giving me [Quoted] the above error. I already copied the tnsnames.ora file from the 8i [Quoted] [Quoted] directory to the Dev/2000 directory, but still doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?
