Discoverer Viewer

I have installed Discoverer Viewer 3.1.37 for Solaris. Everything seems to work fine until I try to retrieve a workbook from the database. Once I have selected the workbook, the machine sits there with the message 'opening workbook...please wait'. This is the same for all workbooks large or small.

Solaris is 2.6, Oracle is 8.1.6, EUL is 3.1.36.

Any ideas?
