path restriction for pfile (oradim80)?

I have two versions for my *.cmd-file to start my db.
The file is located in "d:\applic\databases\cosy2000\*.cmd"
This version works:
oradim80 -startup -sid co00* -usrpwd *** -starttype SRVC,INST -PFILE .\database\INITCO00.ORA > .\DBSTARTUP.LOG
This not:
oradim80 -startup -sid co00* -usrpwd *** -starttype SRVC,INST -PFILE d:\applic\databases\cosy2000\database\INITCO00.ORA > d:\applic\databases\cosy2000\database\DBSTARTUP.LOG
Can somebody tell me why????
Other problem: in both cases nothing is written to DBSTARTUP.LOG!
