Did you also check that the report is created in the output/cache directory? When I tried to use PDF output with IE, it would show an address (url) in the address area, but nothing would display in the browser EVEN THOUGH the report file existed. I couldn't get it to display unless I clicked: File, Open, the re-pasted the URL that was just displayed. Then it displayed fine. I couldn't just hit REFRESH either.

Hopefully this is a non-issue with later releases. This was with Developer 2.1
