A simple problem I hope

Here is the setup
os = win2000 wrkstn
oracle = Oracle8i enterprise
Forms = 6i
host name = big1
directory to install into = D:
I have tried this 4 times and I just can't figure out how and in what order and where to install the 2 programs above so that they can work together. I have read the MOH section of the forms docs and I still can't get them to work together. I am now de-installing them both and removing all traces of them from the registry and also the path statement. I am hoping that some one who has done this can give me a detailed step by step instruction set to accomplish the task.
I would be very appreciative of any help someone can give me. I welcome all replies.
